What Death Didn’t Know

What Death Didn’t Know

When the night comes I’ll remember, the simple song you gave me then.
A song that sounds like I surrendered, that’s when your mercy flooded in.

Couldn’t get there on my own, it was grace that called me home.
Grace that flows from red-stained rivers, of a lamb who died for sinners.

My Savior took a journey to the cross.
My Healer is at home when all seems lost.
My Redeemer looked death right in the eyes and said, I win.

In the midst of noise and chaos, you have never left me wanting.
There’s a comfort that comes from knowing El Shaddai has gone before me.

My Savior took a journey to the cross.
My Healer is at home when all seems lost.
My Redeemer looked death right in the eyes and said, I win.

My Savior took a journey to the cross.
My Healer is at home when all seems lost.
My Redeemer looked death right in the eyes and said, I win.

What death didn’t know
It was a fight it couldn’t win
Death gave its final blow
But God raised Him up again

What death didn’t know
It was a fight it couldn’t win
Death gave its final blow
But God raised Him up again

What death didn’t know
It was a fight it couldn’t win
Death gave its final blow
But God raised Him up again

What death didn’t know
His cross is what we needed
His suffering has freed us
The grave is not the end

My Savior took a journey to the cross.
My Healer is at home when all seems lost.
My Redeemer looked death right in the eyes and said, I win.

My Savior took a journey to the cross.
My Healer is at home when all seems lost.
My Redeemer looked death right in the eyes and said, I win.
